Our Doctors
Meet our dentists
Dr. Chris Peterson moved to Lander at the age of two in 1972. His father Dale, had taken a job at the Wyoming State Training School as their dentist.
Chris went through Lander’s school system and graduated from LVHS in 1988. He then attended the University of Wyoming and was accepted into Creighton’s dental program in 1993.
He is married to his wife, Pam, a Riverton native and has two grown children. The Peterson’s do their best to get outdoors and enjoy all that Wyoming has to offer. This includes everything from snow shoeing in the winter to boating in the summer.
Missionary work is also a priority. He has been a regular on trips to Honduras treating patients both in the jungle and along the Mosquito Coast, with his dad, since 1986. There are many interesting tales from those adventures and the office waiting room usually has a photo album lying around if you want to see a few pictures.
Chris truly enjoys getting to know his patients, listening, and providing comprehensive, quality dental care.
Dr. Sheridan has been practicing dentistry since 1996, and has been in private practice in Lander, WY since 1999. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, and immediately served his Country via the United States Air Force.
Dr. Sheridan was fortunate enough to be picked as the NATO dentist serving in Zagreb, Croatia. He was the sole dentist, caring for 23 countries during the Balkan War, a time very formative in his passion for our Country and our immense blessings. He is an American Dental Association and Wyoming Dental Association member, and has represented the Northwest District Dental Society.
When Dr. Sheridan joined our team, he was thrilled to partner in our office tradition of missionary work in Honduras. Like Dr. Peterson, he has been on routine trips treating patients both in the jungle and along the Mosquito Coast.
Dr. Sheridan is married to Shallary, and together they have 4 beautiful daughters. Their well-being is his primary passion. He loves the outdoors and all facets of experiencing this magnificent playground, which is why he moved here from Michigan.
